IBW Lodge #1 4 Year Anniversary Party THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday, September 6th is our 4 Year Anniversary for this here Beer Jalopy we call home. It's been 10 years for the business as a whole and, truthfully, it's about 17 years since we first started (poorly) planing this thing.

I'm not sure Time means much of anything anymore post-COVID. We don't seem to process it the same way. It doesn't seem to behave the same way. So, I'm not even really sure what we are celebrating here. Survival, maybe? 

But, regardless, we will celebrate. Who needs a sane or reasonable reason to celebrate anyway? 

We'll have live on-site tattooing starting right at 2pm from Angel Silva. This is first come, first served, so, if this is something you want to do, get here early and post up.

The DUNK TANK will be back in action once again. You can start missing all the shots you do take around 3pm. 

There will be food and, of course, beer. We'll have some barrel-aged stuff we've been sitting on on tap at some point.

After the sun goes down we've got a free live show featuring TIJUANA HERCULES, NONAGON & SHARILLA.

Yoga & Soundbath This Saturday @ IBW Lodge #1!

Jillian from Oracle + Alchemy is back with her wild talents for running a Yoga class and sound bath. I know there were a number of you who missed her in June, so now is your opportunity to work with her. She's quite good at meeting the class where they are at and giving you a taste of multiple disciplines. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or you're just looking to dip your toe in the waters, Jillian has got you covered.

Please RSVP to info@ibw-chicago.com as we have very limited space (about 12 spaces). Once you RSVP I'll get you payment information. The $40 gets you the class, the sound bath and a beer when you are done.

And then later that night we've got another FREE Live show featuring AM Slingers, NICE and Mayor for Life.

Punk Rock & Tacos @ IBW Lodge This Friday!

This Friday is gonna be one for the ages! 

El Zorro Taco Truck is back to help fill your face with deliciousness from around 5pm until 8pm. Why not come by, order a few tacos and enjoy them with our Friday Happy Hour Special of $11 Flights?

And, if you're already here for the tacos and beer, maybe you should hang around for DJ Novemberbringing back her no-frills and no-filler all vinyl Punk Rock Party? You need to carbo-load for Saturday's 5k anyway, what better way is there to do that than with tacos, beer and punk rock?

There's still a few spots left for Saturday morning's run (I think like 10 at the most??). Come join a whole gaggle of maniacs who like to start their Saturday's running around the city and drinking beer.
