It's that time of year again, when all the flowers come and your face just melts away.
To celebrate the 2016 release of ORANGE SUNSHINE we've got a party going down on Tuesday April 19th at the Paramount Room here in Chicago.
The festivities will start at the brewery (415 N Sangamon) at 5:30pm where we'll gather together and enjoy some FREE BEER until about 6pm. At 6pm we're going to hop on our bicycles and take a leisurely ride through the West Loop in honor of BICYCLE DAY and the 73rd anniversary of the first purposeful human consumption of LSD. We may stop into a bar or two to quench our thirsts during this arduous celebration.
We'll arrive at the Paramount Room around 7pm where there will be copious volumes of Orange Sunshine flowing freely like THE FREEDOM soars on the wings of a horned eagle. We'll also have some random Illuminated Brew Works paraphenalia to give away. Shirts, glasses, stickers, posters. We may even give away Matt if you're nice.
At 8pm the always fantastic THE COLUMBINES will be playing an extra special psychedelic set in the back of the Paramount Room for all of our esteemed guests. And then, right before your eyes, THE COLUMBINES will transmute form into THE ULTIMATE TRUTH and teach you a thing or two about the weirder side of the road.
Finally, we'll culminate the evening in a participatory Kazoo Orchestra where we'll all play holy hymns to the honor of inter-dimensional patriotism.
